Italian composer and producer CEM3340; previously seen on releases via labels such as Lunar Orbiter Program out of the UK, not to mention his own Curtis Elektronix, has announced a new album that he has just finished up and due for release some time this coming May. There are 5 collaborations that are supposed to appear on this 2x12" vinyl LP, though there is no mention yet as to who the artists or even the title of the record may be.
A couple days ago, the artist did however take to social media to share a live studio session of one of the songs that will be appearing on the new record, this one titled "Born To Make Beats". An absolutely furious, classic Techno Bass tune that will be a must for big systems with it's warm and punchy beats, full of sound aesthetics that like much of CEM3340's style, fall somewhere along the line of artists such as the mighty underdog of the Electro/Techno sound Autobot-1000, or some of the timeless Electro classics on labels like Direct Beat, and titles such as Posatronix's 1997 EP featuring songs like "Danz" and "Night Vision". Raw, unforgiving and completely unapologetic Detroit-influenced Electro.
