Danny Electro Passes Away at Age 41

Seems as of late the news of an earthly brother or sister leaving us is all too frequent. For the Electro community alone, already mourning the loss of three huge icons, Perttu Häkkinen of Imatran Voima, distribution titan Phil Hertz of Crosstalk International, as well as Detroit legend Andray Brown aka Erotek, the news of yet another brother passing is nothing easy to deal with for a community already heavy hearted with grief.

Sadly, on February 23rd, 2019, Danny Electro, the South Florida artist who first came up on the popular Miami imprint Devine Disorder Records, and soon to be out on what would have been the highlight of his career: the "Rogue Resistance" vinyl compilation on Ascendant Recordings, passed away due to unknown reasons, leaving behind family, friends, and countless fans around the world who deeply admired the talent that Danny Electro brought to our music. Truly a profound loss for all of us!

Friends and family have gathered to pay their respects, launching a memorial page for Danny Electro, and aside from the upcoming Rogue Resistance compilation, also expect some more new material to come out on Theoryon Records, a label he was just about to announce signing to. More news to come on that.

There is no info available yet in regards to local memorial services, but please check with his Facebook page for updates.
