Die-hard synthman Moot Booxlé; previously heard rocking the keys on Windy City's "Acid Funk" series out on NYC Records, is back at it again, and this time with his first full solo release on the staple electronic imprint.
Due to release "Mootification" on September 30th, 2020, the synth aficionado; seen via Youtube time and time again over the past few years taking a break from the studio to test out some of Behringer's latest and greatest clones, signs 3 cuts of pure magic to deliver no shortage of funkadelic tones, and jazzed out melodies that will refresh and soothe your spirit with delightful vibes, and eclectic rhythms. Mostly a Space Disco release, with the opening track a fine Electro tune paying homage to the soulful side the music has to offer, keeping things rather nostalgic and old school in vein with the label's catalog and typical aesthetics.
Label mastermind James Reeno took to Facebook a few days ago, to share a video of the test pressing for Moot Booxlé's upcoming release, which we must say sounds absolutely gorgeous! Give it a listen, as we are sure you will agree as well!
Remember, "Mootification" drops September 30th, 2020, so stay tuned to the NYC Records Bandcamp page to make sure you secure your copy of this vinyl release. Digital will also be available.
