Serge Geyzel is perhaps one of the most unique names found in Berlin's sub-culture these days. As one of the core artists of fresh new imprint Arkada Records, and author of a few songs on prestigious labels such as Touched, or Crobot Muzik for example, Serge Geyzel is an artist with a profound background in music that goes back to his childhood.

Starting at a young age learning the curves of classical and Jazz music, he would find his forte in playing the piano, which in 1999, after moving to Israel, would result in studying at the Jerusalem Music Academy, and forming a trio that would play around the city using modular set ups. Eventually however, his sights would be set on Berlin, and so a new adventure in exploring the further reaches of the Electronic Music realms would start, leading him to where he is today.

Recently, having published on Arkada's 2nd vinyl output back in April with Autosim, the artist gears up for yet another heart-pounding return, this time on famed digital imprint Battery Park Studio, and his new release "Black Mirrors". Due June 22nd, the new release will feature iconic Electro names such as Defunkt Dialekt (Irrational Media), veteran ADJ, and of course, Geyzel's closest ally, Errorbeauty.

Cutting through the veil and into places unknown, you can imagine by the list of artists on this new release that this is gonna be some serious envelope-pushing here. Each of these artists has become known for challenging the status quo of Electro music, by exploring deeper and deeper into the sound and most of all, staying very original throughout. Deeply experimental in sound design, refined to a well executed craft, and produced with immaculate skill to bring you in total, 8 tracks of dark, shrewd, complex Electro to revive your senses.

Highly recommended release. Mark your calendars for the 22nd of June DJ's, this is a must have for your upcoming sets! Stay tuned through the label's Facebook page for more news!
