Mauro Nakimi is a tireless ambassador of Electro music, pumping out release after release, like his recent Geometrish that featured heavyweights Carl Finlow and even LFO's very own Gez Varley, also consistently keeping up with what in many ways has catapulted him to a great deal of popularity...his live studio sets! Something actually quite rare in this scene, and something this artist is damn good at!
Currently in-studio working on his upcoming album/movie concept called "Nanowerk", as well as another album dedicated to Glitch Electro called "Eugenesis", not to mention about a dozen new releases for various international labels, including his own Back To Wax, Mauro Nakimi took a moment to share on social media a new song he has been working on called "My Mother In Law Is From Andromeda"; part of the new live studio series for the year that is already up to number 6! So make sure to backtrack and catch them all.
This particular session stood out not just because of the bewildering tune you are about to hear, but because we get to watch this fascinating artist perform on his modular rig which is something quite special in itself.
This song was created using: Akai MPC Live ( Sequencer ), Modular Synth, Moog Dfam, Ni Bassimilus Iterirtas Alter, Ni Manis Iteritas, Mutable Instruments Braids, WMD Chimera, WMD Fracture, Erica Synths Octasource, Mutable Instruments Clouds, Mutable Instruments rings, Mutable Instruments Braids, Haswell Taiko, and a DSI Evolver Key ( 2nd Sequence ).
Stay tuned for the next live studio session, available weekly via the artist's Facebook page.
